What is non-emergency medical transportation?
NEMT is transportation for scheduled or routine healthcare trips. Riders may need help because they do not drive, cannot safely use ordinary transportation, use a wheelchair, need assistance getting to recurring treatment, or have another mobility limitation.
Common NEMT trips
Doctor appointments
Transportation to primary care, specialists, follow-up visits and outpatient clinics.
Dialysis
Recurring transportation to and from dialysis treatment centers.
Rehabilitation
Trips to physical therapy, occupational therapy and rehabilitation appointments.
Wheelchair transportation
Transportation using appropriately equipped vehicles for riders who use wheelchairs.

Eazy Medical Transportation is an independent directory designed to help riders, families and care coordinators locate non-emergency medical transportation providers. Availability, service areas, eligibility and payment arrangements vary by provider.
Before booking a ride
Confirm the pickup address, appointment time, return-trip needs, mobility requirements and whether the provider accepts the rider's payment method or health plan. If a rider is experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services rather than using NEMT.
